Merel is a leadership development coach and facilitator with 25+ years of experience working globally with leaders and teams. An EMCC Senior Practitioner Coach with an MSc in Organizational Psychology, she combines psychological insight with a practical, deeply human approach to leadership.
Her work centers on strengths- and values-based leadership, authentic communication, personal impact and self-leadership. She helps leaders connect more deeply with who they are and what matters to them, and translate that into how they lead, communicate and show up with others.
Merel believes development happens through experience, not just insight. Her work is built around learning loops: try, reflect, adjust, try again. This hands-on approach is strengthened by her active involvement in an international community of experiential learning facilitators.
Mentoring is also part of Merel’s work. Alongside her own mentoring practice, she helps organizations design and facilitate internal mentoring programs and develops mentors to strengthen the quality of their conversations, relationships and impact.
